Expansion Brings Next-Day Delivery of Warehouse and Packaging Goods to Eastern PA

Gahanna, OH (January 16, 2023) — Benchmark Industrial, Inc. is pleased to announce that they soon will be serving the Philadelphia metro area with a full catalog of packaging, warehouse, office, and safety supplies. The Philadelphia location is Benchmark’s first in the Eastern U.S., joining their existing locations in Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Dayton, and Indianapolis.

Jim Reid, the President of Benchmark Industrial, said, “With the new Philadelphia location, we’re expanding our expedited delivery area into the Eastern U.S. Moving into the eastern seaboard will help us better serve our larger customers with multiple locations, so we can offer expedited delivery to more of their facilities. The new location in Philadelphia builds on Benchmark’s recent acquisition of Springfield Paper Specialties, a local shipping and maintenance supply company serving eastern PA since 1963. The two companies share similar business philosophies, offering free next-day delivery on eligible orders and a broad catalog of products. Reid says, “We’re committed to continuing to serve Springfield Paper’s customers and other businesses throughout the Philadelphia metro area as their one-stop-shop for warehouse, shipping and office supplies. By combining our product catalogs, we can bring an even broader range of products to our customers.”

Benchmark has been pursuing an aggressive growth strategy over the last few years. The acquisition and expansion into Eastern Pennsylvania are part of a larger strategy to expand their local service areas across the U.S., and in particular on the East coast. In addition to their six U.S. locations, Benchmark has contracts with shippers and suppliers in Dallas and Los Angeles, allowing them to serve the entire continental U.S. They also have a joint venture with Keypak in Canada to provide service to the Canadian market.
