Benchmark, Inc. Expands Philadelphia-Area Presence with Laurico Acquisition

Deal Brings New Products and Services to Laurico Clients, Expanded Catalog for Benchmark

Gahanna, OH (July 10, 2023) — Benchmark Industrial, Inc. is pleased to announce that they have acquired Philadelphia-area packaging, warehouse and food service supplier Laurico. The move cements Benchmark’s presence in Eastern Pennsylvania and brings an expanded catalog of products to customers of both companies.

Laurico has been serving the Philadelphia area since 1992 with a broad catalog of packaging, janitorial, food service and warehouse supplies. Their customers include local businesses as well as nationally recognized brands. As part of the Benchmark family, Laurico’s customers now have access to a greatly expanded product catalog as well as enhanced services such as free next-day delivery, the Benchmark Price Match Guarantee, and personal advice and customer service by industry experts. Benchmark customers will also see some new product offerings from the Laurico catalog.

The acquisition follows Benchmark’s January 2023 purchase of Philadelphia-area Springfield Paper Specialties. Benchmark now has a strong presence in Eastern Pennsylvania that positions them to move into other East Coast locations. They already serve most of Ohio and Western Indiana, with distribution centers in Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Dayton, and Indianapolis. They also have warehouse locations in Dallas and Los Angeles and a joint venture with Keypak in Canada, which give them broad reach across North America (though free next-day delivery is not available in all areas).
