Polyester strapping is built for heavy, rigid loads that need to stay secure through transit. Compared to steel, polyester strapping offers higher tensile strength and more flexibility, so it absorbs impact and load shifting without snapping or damaging the product. Compared to polypropylene, polyester strapping holds its tension with far less elongation, making it the better choice for dense, non-compressible loads like bricks, lumber, and metal coils. Benchmark carries polyester strapping in 1/2" to 1-1/4" widths and .020 to .050 gauges, available in both hand-grade and machine-grade options to match your application. Many of our polyester strapping products are also made from recycled materials, giving you a more eco-friendly alternative to steel banding.
